passport-appointments.net is an independent scheduling service. We are not a government website and have no affiliation with the U.S. Department of State, USPS, or any government agency.
We search for available appointment slots at government-operated passport acceptance facilities that match your preferences, then secure a match on your behalf. We do not process passport applications, issue government documents, or perform any part of the in-person appointment. The appointment takes place at the facility, conducted by a government-certified employee.
You can schedule your own appointment for free through the U.S. Department of State. We charge a fee to save you the time and difficulty of finding availability yourself.
Applying for a Passport
Applying for a passport can be intimidating and confusing. Be prepared and confident. We are here to help.
Before making an appointment, make sure you are required to apply in person. You may be able to renew by mail.
Finding an appointment yourself (the hard way)
You can search the US Department of State Passport Acceptance Facility Search Page for locations. This will lead you to a provider search page, such as USPS or city facilities, to further search for and secure available appointments.
How we can help (the easy way)
Navigating the provider websites can be confusing. Finding availability in large cities or certain times of the year can be challenging. Getting the right place and time for your appointment may be very time consuming. Preparing your documents and paperwork can be stressful.
We use our experience to save you the time and hassle. We search for an appointment matching your preferences. If none are currently available, we continue searching until a match opens up. Even when there appears to be no availability, some people may cancel their appointment and a slot opens up. Our team checks frequently to find the location and time that is best for you.
Once we find and secure your appointment, we don't stop there. We also offer personal assistance with logistical guidance and answering questions.
What does it cost?
See "Calculate Fees" on the US Department of State website. These fees must be paid during the appointment. You will also need a passport photo. We suggest getting the photo taken at the time of your appointment to ensure it is not rejected. The photo fee is $15 per person.
Scheduling the appointment yourself is free of charge. This service is only to schedule the appointment and does not cover the passport processing fees described above. While similar services charge upwards of $100, we only charge a fraction of that for our appointment search service.
